Though my mouth is silent, my mind is not,
Even when I am smilling, inside I frown,
My heart breaks everytime you forget to smile,
My heart aches at the thought of you,
I cry silently in the dead of night,
and yet,
You always seem to forget,
I smash my hands and my heart, all for what I feel,
I defy my mind and all the odds for your one simple gesture,
But as I wait here alone in the cold,
You never arrive,
I used up my dreams and my fascinations,
I stop hoping for the day you become a knight in shining armour,
I ended my dreams the day I took flight,
Right here in the dark of night.
